Message of #GoodGovernanceSport

After a challenging 2020, the #GoodGovernanceSport team has prepared for the sport organizations a motivational calendar that aims to inspire the delivery of good governance principles in action. Through 12 months of inspiration, we aim to empower the sport entities to ensure that good governance is applied in every aspect of activity undertaken. The sports federations in Bulgaria, which are housed in the House of Sports, received #GoodGovernanceSport calendars to help them motivate themselves in the current 2021 year.

An online training platform for good governance is also available within the initiative, which includes the following aspects:
• What is good governance in sports;
• What are the principles of good governance in sports;
• Recommendations for online presence of a sports organization;
• Are human resources important for the transparency of sports organizations;
• Does the transparency of sports organizations include financial aspects;
• Integrity of a sports organization in an online environment;
• Have you considered online accessibility?

The platform is with free access and available at: https://www.eusport.org/goodgovernance/courses, and upon successful completion of the training and passing the test, a certificate is generated, which you can download from the platform.

#GoodGovernanceSport project is coordinated by the Bulgarian sports development association. #GoodGovernanceSport - 590305-EPP-1-2017-1-BG-SPO-SCP / and is co-funded by Erasmus + Sport of the European Commission / Strategic Partnerships in Sport / partnership of 7 countries, which will last for 30 months, starting on 01/01/2018. The #GoodGovernanceSport project aims to find a way to analyze, collect and promote good practices for appropriate visibility of decisions made and made, responsible bodies and transparency of sports organizations in Europe and partner countries.
